Vacation Care Centre Excursion Programs


Young Guns Fishing Adventures provided a safe and fun environment for the children during the vacation care period. We had forty five children in our care that day and all of them were engaged in all the activities provided by their staff member. Fifteen children even caught a fish which provided a lot of excitement within our group.  The Young Guns team did an excellent job teaching the kids about different type of fish, how to cast (in a very safe setting) and transmitted their passion towards fishing in a safe yet fun way. This excursion has been one of the most exciting experience for the children as well as for the staff.  After the children went home, the parents were thanking us for offering this experience to their child, thanks to Young Guns Fishing Adventures.  We are definitely going fishing again soon!

A specialized program created for children ages 4 - 16 years, where the students are taken on an interactive educational outdoor adventure with all equipment provided FREE for up to 60 students per 4 hour session!

Intensive 5 Day Kids Workshop
 
Over the school holidays, book the kids in for our 5 day kids workshop. Each day is broken up into exciting lessons on the many different aspects of fishing. Watch your child grow in confidence with their new found skill and awareness of their natural surroundings.
 
Feel free to drop the kids off while you do shopping or perhaps reawaken the tranquility of your preferred environment (the quiet sanctuary of your very own lounge room) after a busy week.
 
Parents are more than welcome to join in on the day and have a fish themselves as we have more than enough equipment.
 
The workshop is run over 5 days, consisting of 4 hour sessions each day (10:30am-2:30pm) at one of our 40 venues across sydney!
 
 
The workshop will cover:
 
 
DAY 1 (Monday) - Accuracy Casting Champions - 10 step Accuracy Casting Program
 
 
DAY 2 (Tuesday) - Fish Food - Focus on bait and how to present it
 
 
DAY 3 (Wednesday) - Fish are friends - Focus on environment and fish habitats
 
 
DAY 4 (Thurday) - What's my line - Rods, Reels and type of fishing line
 
 
DAY 5 (Friday) - We are Champions - Casting and Fishing Competions
